Group Family Portraits

Life is so busy for all of us these days that it's hard enough to arrange a time when everyone can meet up let alone have a family portrait done.  I know it's certainly something I have been intending to do for a good few years and still haven't got around to.  Sometimes it takes a special occasion, like for this family, to get the ball rolling.

There were 11 of us in total, 10 family members and me.  It was a little crowded, the studio isn't that big really, and a little warm but everyone did really well and I got some lovely images of the whole family and some smaller group and individual ones too.  Ten is definitely the maximum number my studio can cater for as although we managed it was a little cramped.  For groups above 10 we would need to arrange an outdoor session, there are plenty of local locations to choose from.  Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour for this session and so the whole session was studio based.

This is a little sneak peek for all who took part in the session with plenty more to follow once their gallery is ready.  I have to applaud them all on wearing complimentary outfits, that's not easy to do with so many people but it really helps the final look of the image.  Well done to whoever coordinated clothing or is it just that you all have got good taste!!
